Job Overview: This is a Financial Assistant opportunity in central Bristol starting in November 2024, which will offer you the chance to expand your knowledge, experience and personal development, in an inquisitive environment. This role has the option to work flexibly, and we are open to job-sharing. The finance team is based in Bristol and have a collaborative working culture. This will be a temporary role with the possibility of converting to a permanent position. The responsibility of the Financial Assistant will be to process key accounts and look after our UK, European and USA entities, ensuring the team meets deadlines, and provide insights on performance to the wider business. Advantages but not a requirement include a candidate who has experience with EU entities, particularly Danish experience. You will be responsible for: Financial Administration Complete month end tasks for your entities including balance sheet reconciliations Assist with accounts payable processes such as documenting bills and managing our expenses system, helping colleagues with their queries Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions Raise, receive and monitor purchase orders Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities such as sending out budget reports Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records Complete project expenses each month and submit to CMAP Cover the production and analysis of overhead cost reporting across the business Review and submission of Financial Information to our advisers each month Liaise with our advisers to ensure that we are doing the right thing in foreign jurisdictions Support the organisation in day-to-day operations There will also be a requirement to help with ad hoc projects such as audit and corporation tax across multiple entities as well as holiday cover others in the team as required. Do you have what it takes?
