TD Recruitment is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading company in the construction sector. This full-time, permanent role offers an excellent opportunity to take financial responsibility for projects, providing advice, guidance, and support to operational teams. Key Responsibilities: Review and understand contract documents and pre-commencement budgets. Oversee project cost projections, including subcontractor arrangements. Prepare and submit valuations and manage subcontractor accounts. Attend valuation meetings and ensure timely payment processing. Prepare accurate monthly costings and reports. Price, submit, and negotiate variations and final accounts. Manage retention payments and competitive cost control. Ensure compliance with commercial processes and legal standards. Deliver improved profit margins and high-quality financial documentation. Provide technical and commercial support to meet client objectives. Requirements: Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management. Ideally Chartered and CSCS qualified. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. 5 years' experience in the construction industry is beneficial but not essential. Competencies: Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Effective leadership and negotiation skills. Financial and technical awareness with a commitment to teamwork and integrity.
