The post holder will support our clerk and assistant clerk in carrying out the parish council's day-to-day work, including servicing a committee meeting and dealing with enquiries. The post holder will be expected to take responsibility and deputise for the clerk during periods of absence. The ideal applicant will have administrative experience, strong IT skills, knowledge of local government, which would be desirable but not essential, and be able to demonstrate enthusiasm for working with residents and local organisations.
