And, we know balance is key—that's why we’re flexible with the rota and your needs. You'll get your weekends and evenings free, with our OOH outsourced. We also make sure your career aspirations are supported, whether it’s pursuing a certificate, refining your surgical skills, or simply enjoying a full ops day each week. The role: Our full-time vets work a 4-day week: 1 day- 08:30-17:30 2 days- 08.30-18:30 1 day 08.30-19.30 Our Saturday rota is just 1 in 4 mornings (08:30-13:30), and with out-of-hours outsourced to a local practice, your evenings and weekends will be yours to enjoy. We're also happy to discuss flexible rota options if you have other commitments, so we can work around your schedule. Each of our vets gets at least one dedicated ops day per week, but if you're keen on surgery, we can tailor the rota to suit your interests as we're eager to grow our surgical services. With two theatres and plans to introduce laparoscopy in our new premises, we have the facilities to expand the caseload. Our visiting orthopaedic surgeon handles cases like TPLOs and fracture repairs, but if orthopaedics is your passion, we already have the equipment and would love to support you in developing this further. We also ensure that our consulting days include built-in time for admin, calls, and a proper lunch break Social Scene: We’re more than just colleagues—we're friends. Whether it’s summer BBQs, pub walks, or taking on the latest team challenge (last year it was 3,000 push-ups for charity), there’s always something fun happening.
