Why This Role is Different
This isn't your run-of-the-mill engineering job. We're working with a well-established fire and security firm with deep roots across London and the surrounding areas. They've built their name on quality, reliability, and service that's genuinely customer-first. Thanks to some exciting new contracts, they're looking to bring in a Fire & Security Engineer who takes pride in their work and is ready to level up.
You won't be stuck on the same job day in, day out. You'll get a healthy mix of install, service and maintenance work across both fire and security disciplines. If you're someone who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and being trusted to get the job done - this could be the move for you.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Installing, servicing, and maintaining a variety of systems: Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, and Fire Alarms.
2. Fault-finding and diagnostics to keep systems running at full tilt.
3. Working closely with clients to tailor solutions that fit their site and their budget.
4. Delivering first-class service with a smile and building lasting relationships.
5. Staying sharp with the latest tech and compliance standards.
What They're Looking For
1. Solid experience working across both fire and security systems.
2. Confident in both installation and servicing.
3. Problem-solver with strong fault-finding skills.
4. Good communicator - whether you're chatting with a customer or breaking down a tech issue.
5. A full UK driving licence.
6. London-based or happy to travel around the region.
What's in It for You?
1. Join a company that values its engineers - you're not just a number.
2. Enjoy long-term growth and progression opportunities.
3. Work with a supportive team and a business that invests in training.
4. Use a van you can take home and use personally.
5. Be trusted to do your job without being micromanaged.
