Social Worker / Senior Social Work Practitioner – Fostering
Location: Preston, Lancashire
Permanent | Up to 37.5 hours per week
Full-time or part-time hours would be considered
£33,587 – £37,996 / £43,325 pro rata

Due to the retirement of one of our Supervising Social Workers, we have a rare and exciting opportunity for a social worker to join our experienced and passionate Fostering Team at Caritas Care. We are a well-established Not for Profit Fostering Agency serving the North West, committed to delivering high quality and caring homes to children and young people.
About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Supervising Social Worker to cover the Lancashire and wider North West area, supervising and supporting a small caseload of fostering families and children. In this varied role, you will be involved in recruiting, training, and assessing prospective foster carers, as well as providing ongoing supervision to foster carers and support to children to achieve the best possible outcomes. You will be part of an experienced and supportive team with a collaborative working ethos.
