These are mobile catering posts, you would be responsible for all activities in the kitchen and it's surrounds including cooking, organisation and supervision of food service.
Supervising staff working in the kitchen.
You must be aware of HACCP procedures and ensure all paperwork and electronic returns are completed and submitted according.
Understanding dietary and nutritional needs of the residents within the care home.
Duties may also include transporting and serving of meals, general kitchen and dining room duties (for example washing up, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables), and cleaning of the kitchen and it's surround.
We have several permanent vacancies to join our team within the care homes in Fife, based in Glenrothes covering Fife wide on various rotas on 5 over 7 work patterns.
Mobile Catering Supervisor - 15, 17.5 or 32.5 hours per week are available on 52 week contracts.
You will earn a competitive salary of £23,633.23 - £25,829.49pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:

This work is about ensuring residents are provided with meals throughout the day.
Training on in house systems will be provided. Working towards an Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate will be essential once in post.
The Person
Catering experience or a qualification such as an SVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent is essential for this post.
Provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a team.
Have the ability to travel throughout Fife within a limited timescale.
You will be required to attend Induction Training before starting in post.
Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
