Theatre Manager Newcastle Hospital | Nursing | Permanent contract | Full time | Includes weekend work £50,000 to £60,000 per annum dependent on experience 37.5 hours per week
Main duties of the job
Be operationally responsible for our Theatre including Endoscopy. Ensure the delivery of high quality, clinically effective assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Build strong relationships with consultants, senior leaders, healthcare professionals and patients. Be fully accountable for leading, motivating and supervising multidisciplinary teams. Work collaboratively to ensure patients benefit from the best possible treatment and care. Be trusted with everything from budget management to business planning and clinical governance.
About us
Located in Jesmond; you will be working at one of the north east's leading private hospitals, with a Good CQC rating. We have 27 en-suite private bedrooms and 3 state-of-the-art operating theatres. We offer on-site pathology services and diagnostic imaging including CT and MRI, and to help patients after surgery we have on-site physiotherapy specialists. We have a special focus in the areas of orthopaedics, spinal surgery, ophthalmology, and cosmetic treatment.

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
* As a Theatre Manager at our Newcastle Hospital, you'll bring a nursing/practitioner qualification, specialist training and impressive senior-level experience in a clinical setting.
Experience Essential
* Ideally, your wide-ranging skills will include teaching and assessment, as well as ILS/ALS. A professional management qualification would also be an advantage.
