Our dedicated team is passionate about providing high-quality education and support for all pupils, and we are currently looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join us in helping children reach their full potential. Role Overview: As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting both teachers and students within the classroom. You’ll assist in creating a positive and engaging learning environment, working closely with teachers to ensure that all students, including those with special educational needs, receive the support they need to succeed. Key Responsibilities: Assist teachers with lesson preparation, classroom management, and maintaining an organised learning environment. Work with small groups or individual students to support their learning, particularly focusing on literacy, numeracy, and any areas of difficulty. Provide one-to-one support for students with special educational needs, ensuring they are fully included in classroom activities. Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive interactions among students. Support the social and emotional development of pupils, promoting confidence, self-esteem, and a love for learning. Assist in monitoring students’ progress and reporting any concerns to the class teacher. Provide support during school trips, assemblies, and other school activities. What We’re Looking For: Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in a primary school setting. A positive attitude and a genuine passion for working with children. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work as part of a team, showing initiative when required. An understanding of child development and how children learn.
