Key Responsibilities:
* Lead mechanical maintenance tasks to enhance safety, reliability, and throughput within the plant.
* Manage compliance with regulations such as PSSR, LOLER, and LEV.
* Maintain the technical integrity of mechanical plant and systems, identifying areas for improvement.
* Develop repair specifications for non-routine breakdowns and lead Root Cause Analysis initiatives.
* Interpret and apply business standards to achieve legal compliance, providing expertise across partner sites.
* Drive defect elimination initiatives to optimize plant performance.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, with chartered status desirable.
* Strong understanding of coded welding on pressure systems and quality control processes.
* Knowledge of British Standards and at least five years' experience in heavy industry.
* Demonstrate detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized work style.
