The role involves managing marine interior outfitting projects from set-up through to on-site execution and project close down. You must be willing to work away globally 25% of the year. Key Responsibilities: Understand the final scope of the project and take overall ownership for allocated tasks or projects following relevant sign-off Plan and work with stakeholders on the procurement of all resources and labour Manage ongoing communication with the client professionally and consistently Organise and run project meetings, including regular and ad-hoc project and site meetings Control and monitor project performance according to specifications, budget, and timeline, recommending continual improvements Provide regular project and financial reports to stakeholders, identifying variances and managing or mitigating them Review labour and resource levels on site, recommending adjustments as needed Ensure Health and Safety standards are adhered to on nominated sites, including appropriate PPE for personnel Take overall responsibility for project delivery, ensuring timely, budget-compliant, and client-required outcomes Lend engineering and technical knowledge in marine projects to help less technical project managers Job Requirements: Strong planning, time management, and prioritisation skills Effective communication skills and the ability to influence others Good mathematical and analytical skills Proven experience dealing with marine engineering/technical matters on large vessels Results and detail-oriented approach to work Experience using IT systems, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project Good understanding of Health and Safety legislation At least 5 years' experience in marine project management or marine refit Experience in construction and engineering on larger vessels Experience managing large teams of tradespeople Right to live and work in the UK Benefits: Casual dress Company events Company pension Cycle to work scheme Free parking Health & wellbeing programme On-site parking Private dental insurance Private medical insurance Profit sharing Sick paySalary - £45,000-£55,000 plus 25% working away uplift If you are an experienced Project Manager with a passion for the marine industry and a willingness to work on-site globally for approximately 25% of the year, we encourage you to apply now
