Maintenance Manager / Process Improvement Manager / Continuous Improvement Lead required for a manufacturer of steel components.
The Maintenance Manager / Process Improvement Manager / Continuous Improvement Lead will be responsible for restructuring the maintenance department and driving continuous improvement throughout the sector.
This role will be located in the West Midlands and ideally requires a background in Machining / Forging / Manufacturing along with a qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
This role will suit someone who has previously managed a team in a manufacturing environment and has prior experience in similar positions.
Package:
1. Up to £70,000 base salary depending on experience
2. 25 days holiday + bank holidays
3. Monday - Friday

5. On-site role based in West Midlands
Responsibilities:
1. Restructure the maintenance department, including recruitment, training, and upskilling.
2. Drive continuous improvement throughout the sector.
3. Improve uptime on all key pieces of equipment.
4. Ensure all equipment is compliant with legislation.
5. Provide support to the maintenance team to ensure improvement throughout the department.
6. Work with other departments to ensure all processes are followed to reduce costs.
7. Manage large scale projects on time and within budget.
8. Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
1. Prior experience as a Maintenance Manager / Maintenance Supervisor / Continuous Improvement Lead / Process Improvement Manager / Maintenance Lead or similar position.
2. A background in Machining / Forging / Manufacturing with a qualification or experience in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
3. Prior experience managing a team in a manufacturing environment.
4. Ideally qualified in health and safety such as IOSH / NEBOSH.
