Our Service Line
Our Accounting and Outsourcing Services (AOS) team members supports clients who choose to outsource part, or all of their finance function. This could include transactional accounting, periodic reporting, payroll or ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax legislation. Reflecting the relentless pace of technology change, our AOS team members advise clients both in respect of business performance but also process and digitalisation, whilst building enduring relationships that position Forvis Mazars as a business adviser. Our successful team of over 300 professionals is growing across all areas including cloud accounting, payroll, financial reporting, business advisory and company secretarial.
Our Operations Department
The AOS Operations team members provide operational assistance for the five Business Units (BUs) that make up AOS, a key deliverable of the team being an improvement in the financial performance of the BUs. Responsibilities include process automation and improvement, implementation of enhanced software functionality and managing new software deployment across the national team.
Job Purpose
As an Operations Executive, you will be part of a small team who collaborate on business-critical projects, reporting to the AOS Operations Director. These projects will typically be technology and data driven, supporting the automation of tasks to deliver enhanced client service and improved financial performance. You will require a good understanding of our business and of the level of client service excellence we aim to achieve.
You will regularly liaise with colleagues from other AOS BUs in client facing roles to facilitate exceptional service for our clients. You will have the opportunity to work on the delivery of national projects with the goal of improving the teams' processes and quality of output and creating efficiencies through developing and embracing new ways of working.
Role & Responsibilities
* Responsible for the ensuring the completion of all annual reacceptance work for our existing clients and engagements, including due diligence, risk assessment, data management, engagement letter creation and profitability reviews.
* Work with the central project teams to implement new initiatives such as a common platform for document collaboration used in all countries, or the redesign of our client welcome programme.
* Work with the Audit and Tax service lines to manage our annual resource planning process, bulk importing the annual engagements into our national staff planner, ensuring it is accurate for resource planning.
* Support the central client experience team in the issue, review and response to client surveys, identifying opportunities for improvement in client experience and process simplification.
* Support BU ongoing initiatives, as required, to test potential technology solutions and process changes which deliver increased efficiency or quality to our clients.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

* Experience in preparing and analysing data for management information
* Experience within a professional services/consulting firm is advantageous
