We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to oversee a wastewater project for 12 months in the Bristol area. The projects are primarily replacement of a Biogas flare stack and Liming recovery plant. There are also significant opportunities to take on further projects and develop the team to suit the workload.
The Project Manager must have a digestion/biogas background, together with an awareness of CompEx. The Project Manager will have either a Mechanical or Electrical engineering bias, with an understanding of both disciplines and must have a background in delivering projects within the wastewater sector.
It may be that you are currently working as a Project Manager or perhaps you are a Project Engineer seeking to take the step into Project Management.
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, duties include but are not limited to:
* Managing a site team/s to deliver the works
* Ensuring project delivery within program & budget
* Working closely with the Quantity Surveyor to manage the contract
* Controlling safety, quality & environmental activities, ensuring that all on site are working to the highest safety standards
* Client interface
* Progress reporting
Qualifications/background:
* HND/BEng in Mechanical or Electrical engineering OR by experience
* CSCS
* SMSTS
* Qualification or awareness of CompEx
