We are looking for an enthusiastic Library Assistant to work in our large, well-equipped learning resource centre, which is well used and appreciated by students. You will work alongside the Library Manager and one other Library Assistant to ensure the smooth running of the library on a day-to-day basis. This is a part-time, permanent post, working enhanced term time only (41 weeks per year, mainly during term time).
You will be required to work 20 hours per week, Monday – Friday, preferably 10am – 2pm on four days, with one day working an earlier or later shift to open or close the library (to be negotiated).
The salary will be in the range of Points 6–8 on the sixth form college support staff salary scale, which will be £24,575 – £25,330 gross per annum, plus £3,252 London Weighting. The actual part-time salary is £13,527 – £13,894, depending on experience.
