Job Summary
Head of Centre (extended day care) – Permanent Post
Grade 10
You will be required to support the leadership of a standalone early years and centre set within the community of Auchinairn. The Centre operates 50 weeks per year with provision for children aged 2-5 years.
Your role will require you to demonstrate leadership qualities in supporting the delivery of a high-quality early years service for children and families. Working within the context of local and national curriculum guidance and care standards, you will support and lead the staff team in developing a range of experience and learning opportunities suitable for children’s age and stage of development within an extended day/extended year centre. You will support the development of a safe, caring, stimulating, and inclusive environment for parents and families.
You will be enthusiastic and articulate with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have an understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
Successful candidates will have at least 5 years of leadership experience demonstrating clear skills in leading the early years curriculum.
You must possess a relevant childcare qualification as defined in the role profile.
