Nursery LSA – Full Time

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Rate of Pay: £12.90 per hour

Are you passionate about supporting young children and making a meaningful impact in their early learning experiences? We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Assistant to join a primary school team and support children in their early years of education.
In this rewarding role, you will be helping children who require additional assistance, including providing personal care such as nappy changes and helping with clothing and hygiene during the day. Your role will be vital in ensuring that every child feels supported, safe, and encouraged to thrive in a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with educational activities, including reading, art, and play-based learning. Supervise children during mealtimes and play, ensuring their safety and well-being. Prepare classroom materials and assist in maintaining a tidy and organised environment. Offer support to children with additional needs, ensuring they have access to all activities. Assist with feeding and supporting children during snack and meal times. Foster positive behaviour, communication, and social development in children. Observe and document children's progress, providing feedback where needed. Liaise with staff and parents to ensure effective communication and support. Keep up with ongoing professional development through training. What We’re Looking For:
Experience supporting young children, particularly in an educational setting. Friendly, approachable, and proactive attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and ability to notice and respond to children’s needs. Compassionate, patient, and observant nature. What We Offer:
