Job overview
Do you want to be part of a new and exciting team, being involved in the creation of an asset / Equipment management system across the Primary, Community, Dental Care Directorate?
We are looking for several team members who are innovative and enthusiastic and looking for a challenge with an eye on success. You will need to be a self-starter and a great communicator, willing to input ideas and suggestions to help move this team forward. There will be a requirement to travel to different Oxford Health sites as well as patients' homes, and therefore the successful candidate will need to have access to a vehicle and a full, clean driving licence. Adjustments can be considered in line with the Equality Act 2010 where required.
Main duties of the job
The core function of this post is to ensure that the asset register is updated and managed in line with the Directorate requirements and best professional practice.
To work closely with the operational and clinical team at each site to agree on a standardised register of assets at each site and relevant training in place.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The role responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* To manage and work independently to maintain an electronic register of all assets on each ward.
* To ensure availability at all times of an accurate and complete asset register.
* To develop and undertake a timetable of activities to maintain the accuracy, integrity, and general performance of the asset register.
* To ensure that all assets are linked with the relevant up-to-date procurement, service and repair information.
* To provide data when required to influence future management and procurement of assets.
* To validate and deal with any queries relating to data or information prior to updates into the asset register.
Person specification
Knowledge
* Ability to manage own workload under competing deadlines.
* Working knowledge of asset registers and related systems, processes and procedures.
Experience
* Experience of asset management systems.
* Experience in a busy working environment.
Qualifications
* Good understanding of Excel.
* Good standard of English and Maths.
* Looking to continue personal development towards operational management.
