Summary: The Financial Controller for Rosse Systems will oversee financial operations, including financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, tax compliance, risk management, and internal control. They will work closely with senior management to ensure financial goals and objectives are met. Responsibilities: Manage financial operations, including financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and reports Ensure compliance with accounting principles and internal financial policies and procedures Provide strategic financial planning and analysis to senior management Coordinate audit process and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies Oversee tax compliance, tax planning, filing of tax returns, and handling of tax audits Implement effective risk management frameworks Develop and maintain effective internal control systems Lead and manage a team of finance professionals Qualifications: Minimum 2:1 degree or equivalent ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified 3 years PQE minimum Experience: Team leadership and development Experience of stock control systems and job costing P&L and balance sheet management experience Forecasting/budgeting experience Strong analytical skills required, particularly Excel Strong reporting capability – clear, concise, accurate and well-presented Experience of close cash management Other attributes: “Can do” attitude Delivers on deadlines Resilient – can deal with a heavy workload, prioritise effectively Proactive and independent – needs to be a ‘self-starter’ Needs to be unafraid to challenge and ask uncomfortable questions Able to get along with a wide-range of individuals Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
