Responsibilities
The successful candidate will assist a Director and Senior Law Accountant with a caseload of primarily litigated insurance costs work. Scottish work which will be a mix of RTA, EL/PL and Disease cases to include: consideration of accounts, preparation of objections and negotiations with Third Party agents in addition to drafting Accounts for the recovery of expenses.

Essential
1. You will be a law graduate looking for your first step within an innovative legal business
2. Looking to develop and grow your professional expertise
3. Experience in working to tight deadlines and SLAs
4. Accurate numeracy skills and the ability to work with data
5. Ability to use initiative and problem solve situations as they arise
Desirable
1. Previous experience working in cost law, preferable areas being:
* The insurance sector;
* Road Traffic Accidents;
* Employment Liability and Public Liability;
* Industrial Disease;
1. Experience in assessing/negotiating accounts of expenses
2. Experience in drafting accounts of expenses
3. Experience in preparing points of objection/responses
