Job tittle: CBS Food Banking Analyst Start date: ASAP Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, hybrid Location: Manchester Pay Rate: £14.00 ph To control and reconcile the Cash & Bank reconciliations for the Retail & Corporate arms of our client ensuring financial integrity is always maintained and that all reconciling items and adjustments are resolved within agreed deadlines. The function will resolve complex issues and support an improved reconciliation process so that risk is evaluated and remedied in a timely and accurate manner. To ensure successful project delivery through providing assistance to the Cash and Bank Reconciliations Manager (Food). Description of how role-holder contributes to our business and co-operates with their colleagues within their team or community of practice to deliver our vision To be an expert in the reconciliation of complex bank and control balance sheet reconciliations. Prepare reports for internal customers to report cash losses, dashboards, and ad hoc requests. Produce management balance sheets with commentary to period end timelines. Complete and query other control account reconciliations. Be responsible for accurate completion of cross system reconciliations. Supporting business change programes with specialist knowledge and ad hoc support of the CBS Team Manager Food and colleagues during system roll out. Manage the resolution of complex account queries and disputes. Experience of supporting a controlled year end Audit to deadlines. Identify and implement continuous process improvement opportunities. To assist in the production and review of process documentation and the training of new/existing team members and provide support and guidance to them as required. Give insight to Team Managers, R2R Leadership Team and key stakeholders on key areas of improvement. Key player in the team meeting its agreed service levels, targets, and deadlines. Ability to 'think out of the box' and recommend any service improvements that will reduce business cost and departmental costs. Provides input into new processes and procedures.
