We are seeking a passionate and experienced Deputy Nurse Manager to join our client's dynamic nursing team. As the Deputy Nurse Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall management and leadership of the nursing department, ensuring high-quality care for all patients.
The role will be based in a small nursing home that offers nursing and residential care to older adults.
Qualifications
1. RGN (Registered General Nurse) qualification, with a valid UK NMC Pin
2. Proven experience in a nursing leadership role, such as Deputy Manager or similar position
3. Strong clinical and assessment skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on collaboration and team building
5. Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and standards, with a dedication to ensuring compliance
6. Ability to handle stressful situations with empathy and professionalism

Responsibilities
1. Assist in the management and coordination of nursing staff, including staffing schedules and performance evaluations
2. Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards of care
3. Collaborate with the Nurse Manager to develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance patient care delivery
4. Oversee patient assessments, care planning, and medication administration to ensure optimal patient outcomes
5. Act as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to promote effective communication and collaboration
6. Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
7. Stay current with regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards
8. Serve as a role model for nursing staff, fostering a culture of professionalism, empathy, and respect
