The Governors of this exceptional Specialist School are looking to appoint an outstanding, efficient and approachable Business Manager to work in our welcoming and nurturing school where our pupils are at the heart of everything that we do.
Woodlawn School is a fully inclusive school catering for pupils 2½ to 18 years with physical, medical, sensory needs and/or moderate learning difficulties. Our school environment is vibrant and constantly changing and the right candidate will be flexible and adaptable.
Overall Purpose of the Role:
* Lead and manage first class business support services to the school.
* Develop and maintain a strategic business plan that will indicate and influence trends and requirements of the school development plan.
* Lead, manage and develop systems to support the effective running of the school business in the key areas of Finance, Human Resources, Health and Safety and Estate Management.
The Governing Body have identified the requirement for a School Business Leader to add value to the already extremely effective wider leadership and management team of the school. This will support the school in its next stages of development. The role therefore requires the successful candidate to be able to operate with excellent organisational leadership to get the best out of the fantastic teams who they will be privileged to work with.
The candidate will work during term time with an additional 20 days during school closure periods. This additional time will be allocated to staff and self-development and process improvement.
