The Role
As Brand Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing DeMellier’s brand marketing strategy, ensuring a strong and consistent presence across all touchpoints. You will lead brand storytelling, seasonal campaigns, and brand activations, working cross-functionally to drive awareness, desirability, and deeper engagement that supports customer conversion. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the luxury and fashion landscape, a passion for compelling storytelling, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Storytelling
1. Develop and implement brand marketing strategies with the Head of Marketing, ensuring alignment with DeMellier’s business objectives.
2. Own and manage the marketing calendar, ensuring brand strategies are translated into structured weekly narratives.
3. Shape seasonal brand messaging, working closely with the Head of Marketing and collaborating with the Content Editor.
4. Ensure consistency in brand storytelling across all touchpoints, aligning messaging with seasonal and campaign objectives.
5. Conduct regular competitor reviews to track industry trends and inform strategic decisions.
Campaign Development, Partnerships & Activations
1. Plan and oversee the execution of integrated brand campaigns, from seasonal launches to strategic brand moments.
2. Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling visuals, video content, and storytelling elements.
3. Partner with the Content Editor to ensure alignment between copy and creative assets.
4. Work cross-functionally with PR, CRM, paid media, e-commerce, and social media teams to ensure campaigns are effectively executed across all channels.
5. Ensure all marketing channels have the assets and content required to fulfil their channel plans.
6. Identify and develop strategic brand partnerships to enhance awareness and credibility.
7. Conceptualise brand activations, events, and collaborations that align with DeMellier’s luxury positioning.
8. Develop engaging social activations as part of broader brand activation concepts to enhance brand awareness and community engagement.
Performance & Insights
1. Track and analyse the impact of brand campaigns, activations, and partnerships, using insights to optimise future initiatives.
2. Monitor social media performance, pulling insights to inform brand strategy, campaign planning, and engagement tactics.
3. Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities in luxury fashion.
4. Lead post-campaign wrap-up reports and analysis to measure performance and refine future strategies.
Who You Are
1. 5+ years of experience in brand marketing, preferably in luxury, fashion, or premium lifestyle brands.
2. A strong strategic and creative mindset, with a passion for storytelling and brand-building.
3. Experience managing brand campaigns, partnerships, and activations.
4. Highly organised, with excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
5. A strong aesthetic sensibility and deep understanding of luxury consumers.
6. Experience using social media insights to inform brand strategy and develop engaging activations.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
