£43,810 to £49,989 per annum, in addition you may be eligible for an annual £2,000 car market premium and a one-off £2000 'Golden Hello'.
We are a motivated, multi-disciplinary Adoption Support Service who are passionate about and committed to supporting adopted children and their families into adulthood. We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist, Systemic Family Therapist, or Counselling Psychologist to join our service as a Senior Therapist.
You will provide trauma-informed, therapeutic interventions to children and their families who have been placed for adoption (pre adoption order) or are adopted (post adoption order). We take a child-centred approach and believe each family is unique. We offer varied therapeutic interventions such as: parent work, family work, individual work, groups, and consultation with the network. Our team draws on a range of therapeutic models and theories including: Attachment, Regulation and Competency Model (ARC), Systemic, Developmental Trauma, Attachment, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), Theraplay, Non-Violent Resistance (NVR), Life-Story Work, Narrative, and Sensory Integration.
We strongly believe in the value of multi-disciplinary working and supporting professional development and growth. Our teams consist of Social Workers, a Family Therapist, a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, and an Occupational Therapist. We are passionate about team working and our regular team meetings form a core part of our approach. We would welcome someone who shares these values.

Bringing together our expertise, we are committed to achieving the best for all our children across the region. Our agencies merged from three local adoption agencies to one regional adoption service in November 2020.
