This post is open to all registered healthcare professionals. The post holder will be the Clinical Lead for Martha’s Rule implementation across University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. This is a Continuous Quality Improvement Programme. This post holder is required to lead a programme of work to deliver an inclusive process that meets the requirements of Martha’s rule
The post holder will work with all members of the multi professional team and will be responsible for ensuring processes are in place to ensure embedded and sustainable change consistently across UHBW.
This is a collaborative programme of work with North Bristol NHS Trust (NBT). As a Senior Professional, the post holder will be the responsible for the programme within UHBW and will be the main point of contact for joint working with colleagues in NBT.
·Be the clinical lead for Martha’s Rule implementation programme within UHBW hospitals. This will include leading the development of the programme and being responsible for ensuring processes are in place to ensure embedding and sustainability of the changes are maintained consistently across UHBW.
·Ensure the ongoing quality of accessible and inclusive resources to support the Martha’s Rule
·Provide expert clinical knowledge and advice to the clinical teams
·Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of the programme and actively horizon scan for opportunities for collaborative working across the Martha’s Rule community of practice and national implementation team.
·Provide senior clinical leadership and undertake project management responsibilities
·Professionally line manage the Martha’s Rule improvement lead and ensure close liaison with clinical teams to deliver sustainable change in the clinical areas.
·Be an advocate for quality Improvement and will work in partnership with the Divisional teams, Critical Care Outreach Teams, clinical teams and ward/department managers.
