Join our Label & Pack and Warehouse team as a Senior Material Management Technician at our Haverhill manufacturing site to play a crucial role in delivering our portfolio of active pharmaceutical ingredients addressing a wide population of patients. The Materials Management team leads our storage and distribution processes at the Haverhill site which ensures vital medicines reach patients and our customers worldwide. We offer temperature-controlled trailer and shipping capabilities, transport via air freight without any requirements for x-ray ensuring quality, safety and efficiency at every stage of our process. You will be responsible for actively promoting safe working and GMP/GDP compliance activities according to agreed company/legislative standards. Your Responsibilities You will: Perform all specified activities that are required to meet the commitments of the secondary packaging, warehouse and dispatch operation. Be responsible for maintaining a high standard of quality, safety and cleanliness in all working areas Be aware of all health, safety and environmental standards in all working areas. Be compliant with all quality systems Review relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), Report Forms (RFs) as and when required. Be responsible for prompt and accurate data entry in all databases and operating systems Be fully competent in own area and is developing an awareness of other areas within Materials Management. Build formal networks with internal customers. Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives Label and package specialty products in a safe manner as directed by line management to daily/weekly schedules according to laid down quality procedures. Perform Warehouse activities [goods in/out/dispensing/stock] on time, in full and in a safe manner. Guide and train others in the team to a high level of expertise. Anticipates future staffing requirements and training needs and proposes plans accordingly in conjunction with the area manager; develops training matrices identifying key requirements and implement to the team measuring the effectiveness. Ensure the area is always audit ready and be prepared to support audits and tours. Drives the performance of the team and acts as a mentor and source of authoritative guidance for others. Resolves complex problems where there may be no precedent or clear process to follow, escalates appropriately. Ensure that relevant business systems or supporting software packages are updated in a timely manner Could provide day to day supervision of assigned team and drives productivity in the area to reach set targets. Maintains equipment and work area to appropriate standards.
