Role Overview As a Nursery Nurse / Early Years Practitioner within the CAMHS Early Years Service, you will have the opportunity to work as part of a skilled and multidisciplinary team, including Psychologists, Specialist Health Visitors, and other Early Years Practitioners. This role is focused on supporting young children and their families when emotional or behavioural challenges arise. Primarily based in East Staffordshire (including Burton), there will also be occasional travel to West Staffordshire. Your work will help to provide targeted support when other forms of intervention are not sufficient, particularly for children who are not yet in full-time school. This is a rewarding role where you can make a real difference in the early years of children's emotional and behavioural development. Main duties of the job Key Responsibilities: Work within a multidisciplinary team, including Psychologists, Specialist Health Visitors, and other Early Years Practitioners, to support children and families facing emotional or behavioural challenges. Provide support in a variety of settings such as homes, clinics, children's centres, and nurseries. Assist in strengthening the relationship between parents and children during challenging times. Provide continuity of care for children transitioning from early years to school, depending on individual needs. Contribute to developing and delivering strategies to support children and families in managing emotional and behavioural difficulties.
