Role Overview The Electrical Quantity Surveyor will oversee the financial management of commercial CAT A and CAT B office fit-out projects. This role involves ensuring project costs are controlled efficiently while delivering high-quality electrical systems in line with client expectations. The position requires expertise in cost estimation, contract negotiation, and project profitability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare and analyse cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for electrical works specific to CAT A and CAT B office fit-outs.
2. Conduct detailed measurement and valuation of electrical installations as per project requirements.
3. Negotiate contracts, variations, and pricing with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
4. Manage project cash flows, valuations, and ensure timely invoicing.
5. Maintain accurate records of contracts, correspondence, and project documentation.
6. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure compliance with financial and contractual obligations.
7. Provide regular reports on project performance, risks, and profitability.
