A growing and dynamic Wealth Management Firm, with fund management activities too, are looking to recruit an Operations Manager to join the team. Potentially, this role will suit an individual who is mid-career with previous experience in financial services operations and is looking to take the next step up on the career ladder.
Your main responsibilities as Operations Manager will be to oversee the daily operations of the Investment Administrator and Platform Implementation teams to ensure efficiency, quality control and smooth workflow.

The Role Responsibilities include:
* Line management for Investment Operations and Platform Implementation team members, including supervision, training, monitoring performance & feedback provision.
* Managing ongoing migration for our EU and UK Investment Platforms, including managing weekly communications between custodian, new platform provider and internal teams.
* Co-ordinate with tech-team to ensure smooth integration of new system processes on New Platform.
* Manage the Company’s Platform Accounts on new EU and UK Investment Platforms.
* Supporting internal teams with the maintenance of the Platform Migration plan.
* Ensuring all processes and procedures for our EU and UK Investment Platforms remain up to date and compliant with applicable regulations.
* Working closely with other departments to ensure our Investment Platforms are running in the most efficient and compliant way.
* General administration of Investment Platform accounts, including the setting up of new accounts, contributions, withdrawals and closures.
* Handling any ad hoc queries or project work that may arise, including team sign offs.
* Handling all escalations received from Investment Operations and Platform Implementation team members, and potential escalations received from other departments.
* Providing MI data to senior management, when requested.
* Collaborating with senior management to provide operational strategy updates.
* Liaising with custody providers, trustees, insurance providers and internal teams within the company.
* Supporting any fund management or portfolio management administration that may be required.
* Taking responsibility for office management and ensuring the office is thoroughly stocked and maintained as required.
* Maintaining relationships with suppliers and negotiating contracts and prices.
The key skills and attributes required for the role are as follows:
* Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.

* Pro-active approach to client service and teamwork.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* A willingness to undertake and complete CISI examinations.
