The Role The Director Cloud Alliances and Channel will be responsible for the Public Cloud Providers (aka Hyperscalers) Alliances and Channel strategy in EMEA. With a full understanding of Fortinet’s value proposition in the Cloud market, you will be working with Fortinet Sales leaders and key partners to consolidate and expand Fortinet’s position in the Public Cloud. Responsibilities Manage a team of Alliance Managers, Channel Managers and Inside Sales Define the alliance strategy with Hyperscalers (mainly AWS, Microsoft and Google) to develop and accelerate the Public Cloud business across EMEA Drive engagement between Fortinet Sales teams and Cloud providers in EMEA. Participate in the definition of the Hyperscaler Marketplace strategy and support its execution through Inside Sales Define the Cloud Channel strategy and execute together with the Channel organisation Support the development of ad-hoc Channel plans to grow the Cloud pipeline. Assist with identifying and training Cloud-focused channel partners. Monitor progress and apply corrective actions when needed Have a close alignment with the EMEA Channel and the EMEA Cloud Sales organisations Achievement of agreed quarterly sales goals for the Cloud portfolio. Report Hyperscaler and Channel sales activity across EMEA and help accurately forecast pipeline. Required Skills Fully qualified, experienced sales leader: forward thinking and with an expert understanding of the technology business sector. Minimum 8 years’ experience selling to Fortune 1000 Major Accounts & closing large opportunities. In depth knowledge of AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform and other key Hyperscalers (Alibaba Cloud and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) Ability to drive and engage teams on projects. Excellent business acumen and solution selling skills. Successful track record in designing business plans and market strategies. Excellent presentation skills to executives and large audiences. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Self-starter mentality.
