Job description Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Materials Management Specialist, based in Aberdeen. Key Job Responsibilities: Deliver material management support to offshore asset(s) for Project Scopes & Turnaround (shutdown). In relation to material supply for operations and projects / modifications, the co-ordination and liaison focal point between onshore and offshore personnel, external suppliers and warehousing providers to ensure timely delivery of materials to meet offshore plans; Provide real-time information (including that from the company EPR system) on material availability to key stakeholders; Participate in daily asset and construction calls, planning meetings etc (including weekly EPC planning meeting), providing materials status updates as required; Monitor EPC, Repair Order, Fabric Maintenance and Modifications contractors' fabrication plans to ensure timely deliveries for offshore shipment and expedite EPC, Repair Order and Modifications contractors on urgent materials and equipment to meet offshore construction plans; Resolve queries in relation to material status, supply and / or availability and any perform any required company EPR system interrogation; Provide operational and functional guidance to asset teams both onshore and offshore; Coordination of spares (operating, critical and general spares) with EPC contractor to support handover from projects to asset, creation of ERP system Material Masters, Bills of Materials against equipment tags and uploading of balance to EPR system stock holding. Experience Required: Significant experience in shutdown materials (preferably in oil and gas industry in a production operations environment). Strong system knowledge and experience - SAP MM Module and Microsoft Office (specifically MS Excel).
