DHX Denley Hydraulics solving complex hydraulics for demanding engineering applications. Based in Heckmondwike, West Yorkshire, with customers across the UK and world we work across a range of industries including environmental, stadia, oil & ga, defence, nuclear and renewable energy. We specialise in end to end lifecycle management from advising clients on concept design, to designed design, manufacture, supply and install. And then ongoing support through servicing, maintenance, repair and overhaul and spares. Our product portfolio includes Hydraulic Cylinders, Hydraulic Power Units (Pneumatic, ATEX variants), Lubrication Systems, Hydraulic Systems, Valves and Actuators & Test Rigs. DHX supplies a number of its own customers directly as well as providing hydraulic expertise and equipment into the wider Kinetic Solutions Group. Experience: Proven experience with installing and maintaining hydraulic and electrical industrial machinery. Advanced troubleshooting and maintenance experience in mechanical, electrical, power electronics, and hydraulic systems. Experience interpreting technical drawings and electrical schematics. Experience with panel stems (preferred), and PLC programming/fault-finding. Qualifications: HND/HNC/City & Guilds or a technical degree in Hydraulic, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent. First Aid at Work, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces all advantageous. Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with internet-based programs. Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills (written and verbal). Work Conditions: Willingness to travel mostly nationally with majority of trips planned in. Sometimes short notice trips will be required. Willingness to travel internationally, on a planned basis for up to two weeks at a time. Ability to work effectively independently with minimal supervision or as part of a small team. Sometimes supervising up to 2 colleagues onsite. A “get-it-done” mentality to manage simultaneous activities and challenges Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of equipment at client sites. Scheduled Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) visits, onsite root cause analysis, service, repair and maintenance actions across hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and control equipment. Providing training and support to customers. Evaluating equipment performance and recommending improvements. Preparing reports, offering feedback to customers, and collaborating with design, manufacturing, quality and sales to offer value add services to clients.
