This will be a fantastic opportunity to further develop your knowledge and skills and work in partnership with Universities, Colleges and Health Communities to support the delivery of safe high quality care through workforce education and development.
We are looking for a committed registrant who can demonstrate strong clinical leadership and management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across multi-professional teams. The post holder will act as an expert practitioner and role model, providing advice and support on career development and education opportunities and will be required to develop and deliver education programmes to meet national and local policy, professional standards and local service requirements. The post holder will be responsible for managing the education team who are based across the Health Board.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will take a lead role on a number of specific work streams relating to the portfolio and will work collaboratively with health communities in order to implement work programmes that are aligned with national and health board wide objectives.
The post will affect its purpose through application of the key principles of professional, education and practice development, by focusing on the improvement of patient care and safety through adoption of a range of approaches working largely within and supporting staff within the education and practice setting. This may involve incorporating other multi professional areas as defined by the Health Board.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
