Social housing contractor are hiring a plumber for contracts across East London.

Their services include responsive repairs, void refurbishments, compliance services and planned maintenance works.
Your new role
As a plumber, you will carry out multi-trade repairs and maintenance on a variety of properties across East London and London Central. You will need to work safely and efficiently in line with standards. Key duties include:
1. Installing pipes and fixtures, such as sinks and toilets, for water, gas, steam, air, or other liquids.
2. Modifies length of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing materials as needed for a building.
3. Collaborates with contractors, construction workers, electricians, pipefitters, and steamfitters in installing and repairing plumbing.
4. Assemble pipe sections, tubing and fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing and welding equipment.
5. Writes report documenting the problem and summary of actions taken.
6. Study building plans and inspect structures to assess material and equipment needs, to establish the sequence of pipe installations, and to plan installation around obstructions such as electrical wiring.
7. Locate and mark the position of pipe installations, connections, passage holes, and fixtures in structures, using measuring instruments such as rulers and levels.
8. Ensure all H&S documentation (RAMS) are present prior to engaging on task.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Must have full UK driver license.
2. Previous experience as a qualified Plumber preferred.
3. Diploma level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating.
4. City and Guilds in Plumbing and Heating.
5. NVQ Level 2 plus 3 in Plumbing.
6. CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card or above.
