Our client, a large consulting firm focussed on the design and production of electronic products within the Marine and Subsea aspect of defence, awareness and warfare anticipation/prevention, is looking for talented System Engineers to join them on their journey of growth as they embark on an exciting business transformation, with an impressive portfolio of clients who include the UK Ministry of Defence and our Royal Armed Forces.
The company specialises in all areas of cutting-edge technology, focussing largely on software and electronics design/production.
As the perfect candidate for this role, you will have the following experience:
* Contribute to/oversee (depending on the seniority of your role) the project engineering team to develop and deliver a technically and commercially viable solution.
* Ensure that the technical solution adheres to customer, regulatory, and business requirements. Communication and good stakeholder engagement is key.
* Contribute to/oversee the design, development, and support of the technical solution in compliance with company processes and procedures.
* Assist with product certification and compliance approval, covering all technical aspects, including contractual and legislative requirements.
* Execute systems engineering tasks for a project within the allocated time and budget, managing work packages effectively.
* Create, comprehend, and review user requirements.
* Conduct requirement analysis and decompose them to system and sub-system levels.
* Develop and document system architecture, design, and strategies for acceptance and verification.
* Ensure complete traceability of specifications, designs, and acceptance criteria.
* Contribute to project schedules by providing regular and clear progress updates.
* Aid in the bidding process by offering technical solutions, estimates, and plans.
