The position You will be responsible for managing the organisation's treasury operations, including cash flow management, financing, risk management, and investment activities. You will be responsible for strategic planning, financial analysis, and oversight of treasury policies to ensure the company's financial stability and growth, working closely with senior management to align treasury strategies with overall corporate objectives. Organisational Context You will report directly to the Head of Group Finance and will lead the newly created Treasury function. This team provides services across all RES' active countries, all technologies, and all activities, closely interacting with senior leaders. Key Accountabilities Cash Flow Management: Oversee daily cash management operations, including cash positioning, forecasting, and reporting. Ensure optimal liquidity levels to meet operational and strategic needs. Develop and implement cash management policies and procedures. Financing and Capital Structure: Develop and execute strategies for capital needs including debt and equity financing. Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investors. Evaluate and negotiate terms of financing agreements to secure favorable terms for the company. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including interest rate, foreign exchange, and credit risks. Implement and monitor hedging strategies to protect against financial market volatility. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk management policies. Leadership: Build the treasury team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Set performance goals, conduct performance evaluations, and provide feedback. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Experience with ERP systems and Treasury software. Preferred Skills Language skills are of an advantage Experience Minimum of 8 years of experience in Treasury, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
