The Hire Controller plays a key role in supporting the effective day-to-day running of our Hire Department across Melbourne and our interstate branches. They will be the first point of contact for all enquiries from customers and internal Subcontractors via phone, email or in person, ensuring they provide a seamless customer experience.
You will manage communication between our subcontractors, warehousing staff, stock controllers, and external transport companies while tracking stock and processing payments. The Hire Controller must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have a polite and professional phone manner.
We are seeking an individual with a positive "can do" attitude to work alongside a supportive team while handling customer queries. You will need to possess a strong focus on attention to detail, provide exceptional service, effective problem-solving skills, and issue resolution while maintaining a high level of customer service.
