Sales & Business Development Manager Required – Specialist Sub-Contractor – Bedford Region I am currently recruiting for One of London’s premier contractors who design, source, manufacture, install and advise on a range of surface packages across various applications and sectors, including commercial, residential, retail and hospitality. Established in 2000 with locations in London and Bedfordshire, they have grown to be one of the premier surface fabricators and bespoke worktop suppliers in the United Kingdom. The Role They are looking for a motivated and experienced Sales & Business Development Manager to join the team. Head up the sales team and be responsible for growing the business. Generate reports and sales strategies on a regular basis to show current trends and to run through the pipeline. Improve and implement procedures. Hold regular meetings with the sales team to distribute workload Work closely with the contracts arm of the business to assist in securing tenders. The candidate would be expected to be able to understand architectural designs and drawings and identify the relevant information for pricing. A key part of the role involves maintaining existing client relationships and business development. This role would involve a mixture of working in the office and visiting clients. Requirements: Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Full UK driving license is mandatory for this role. The ability to communicate well with colleagues and customers. Excellent teamworking skills. Self-starter with good time management. Proficient IT skills and a good knowledge of Excel. A minimum of 3 Years experience within the Kitchen/Bathroom industry. Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring timely and accurate forecasting. Be able to price independently.
