We are currently looking for an eagle-eyed deal spotter and chief shopper to come and work with us in our Supply Chain Manager role. The Person As with everything we do – different definitely tastes better Same goes for the person in the Supply Chain Manager role You’ll ideally be an experienced negotiator within the ingredients, packaging and consumables sector with a proven background managing co-packing and co-manufacturing partners. You will have experience delivering strategic focus on strengthening our relationship with our suppliers, sourcing the best and most cost-effective ingredients, packaging and consumable helping to improve the P&L across the business. We are looking for a career hungry Senior Supply Chain professional who can match our energy, drive & passion for growth so this is ideal for someone looking to take a step up and take on more responsibility. You will get all the support you need to grow and develop and at the end of the day know its all your own work, confidently saying "that was my idea, I did that" Although you will work closely with all department especially procurement, this role is stand-alone so you will need to be a strong problem solver, decision maker, influencer and starter-finisher. The Role Brief As Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for: Own the search, assessment and establishment of all new co-manufacturing partnerships Evaluate all current supplier contracts, establish status, quality and commercials and own any renegotiates that may be required Work closely with the Planning & Customer Service Manager on any of the onward-bound supply chain networks or co-manufacturing supply chains Work with Procurement to coordinate the transportation and distribution of food products, including scheduling deliveries, arranging shipments, and managing freight forwarding. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and transportation requirements for goods, working with the QA department. Manage inventory levels of all stock, working with the Procurement Manager. Negotiating prices with suppliers. Sourcing and negotiating new ingredients. Conduct regular inventory audits to minimise waste and ensure accurate stock counts. Serve as the primary point of contact for food suppliers, communicating order requirements, delivery schedules, and quality specifications. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability, quality, and consistency of food products. Collaborate with suppliers to address any issues or concerns related to product quality, availability, or delivery timelines. Work closely with internal teams such as procurement, production, and quality assurance to coordinate supply chain activities and meet production schedules. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on inventory requirements, production planning, and customer demands. Provide regular updates on supply chain performance and inventory status to relevant stakeholders. Identify opportunities for process improvement within the food supply chain, such as optimising inventory management processes, reducing lead times, or improving delivery efficiency. Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of supply chain operations. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to food supply chain metrics and take corrective actions as needed to drive continuous improvement. Our Culture We’re food explorers.
