Where we need your help
This role is an exciting opportunity for a data-oriented, self-driven, Mandarin-speaking Tmall Ecom manager to join our fast-paced, energetic business, to help us continue with our ambitious development and growth plans in China, and with our mission to accelerate sustainable change across the jewellery industry.
You will report directly to the Head of Tmall Trading & Marketing, working closely with our Tmall Partner to drive Tmall and RED store Ecommerce growth in China. You will oversee day to day Ecommerce trading activity, maximise data insight and implementing trading plans to drive Ecom growth.
What you’ll do
Tmall/Red Ecommerce Management:
1. Oversee day to day Tmall flagship store and RED store management, including TP management, regular sales review, product ranging, promotion planning, live streaming, CRM, and managing content on the site.
2. Monitor and optimise China online traffic, conversion, revenue and spend. Maximise eCommerce performance through effective day-to-day management of data and implementing trading initiatives.
3. Align with the marketing team/agencies to leverage brand marketing initiatives that lift Tmall traffic and sales.
4. Work with TP and global teams to deliver best-in-class customer experience on Tmall, ensuring brand consistency across every customer touchpoint.
5. Responsible for Ecommerce reporting and product analysis. Maximise Tmall database to help build a sustainable growth model for China (CAC/LTV/COS%, etc).
Inventory Management:
1. Oversee monthly forecasts & fulfilment for stock replenishment. Ensure inventory level is aligned with product performance and commercial targets.
2. Lead quarterly NPD buys and new product launches.
3. Oversee external agencies to support UK to CN product importation, including documentation, custom clearance, product labelling, and local product test/compliance.
4. Support with ordering packaging, localised GWP, and quarterly/yearly stocktakes.
What you’ll bring
1. Native speaker of Chinese and fluent in English (written and spoken), with a strong understanding of Chinese culture.
2. Experience in managing a Tmall store, knowledgeable of the latest Ecommerce trends in China. Previous experience in luxury and fashion is highly preferred.
3. Strong analytical skill set, knowledgeable on how to measure an e-commerce business, ability to synthesise actionable insights.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
5. Ability to work both operationally and strategically with a clear focus on the brand and results.
6. Team player with a collaborative attitude, and strong willingness to learn.
7. A passion for getting things done, always willing to offer support and help to others.
8. Adept at managing multiple priorities and with meticulous attention to detail.
9. A genuine interest in jewellery and fashion. Ambition to grow Monica Vinader to become a market-leading brand in China.
10. Ability to work in an ambiguous environment, where the answer is not always obvious, and the right questions need to be asked.

Travel Requirements
Travel to our Norfolk / London office may be required.
