An opportunity has arisen for a forward-looking and proactive person to join our library team. The Library Space and Experience Supervisor, within the Library Space Experience and Innovation team, will be responsible for supervising front-line service provision and the library physical spaces. Library users are at the heart of everything we do, and this role is critical to our success. You will supervise the enquiry team delivering front-line customer service excellence across Library opening hours, and via existing and emerging communication channels. The team provide a proactive, welcoming presence to all our users and assist in maintaining and developing the Library as an outstanding study environment. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate with colleagues, students, University staff and external contacts. Reliability and previous experience of team working in a customer-focused role are essential, as well as the ability to use initiative and be self-motivated.
