Job Opportunity: Support Worker in Forfar, Scotland
1. Location: Forfar, Scotland
2. Pay Rate: £13.65 per hour
3. Shift Pattern: Begin with 4-hour shifts, increasing to full-time as the service user transitions to independent living.
Key Responsibilities
4. Assist with move to independent living
5. Support with personal care (as needed)
6. Accompany him to social activities and hobbies
7. Help manage household bills
8. Provide emotional and social support
9. Monitor safety using his location tracker
Qualifications and Skills
10. Experience with learning disabilities (preferably Down Syndrome) is a plus but not essential
11. Friendly, patient, and fun-loving personality
12. Clear and consistent communication skills
13. Willingness to assist with personal care
14. Flexibility with shifts as hours increase
15. A driver's license is helpful but not required
