One of our Property clients have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant to support their contract service delivery teams based out of Hertford. If you are self-motivated, thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to join a growing company, we would like to hear from you. • Ensuring the Accounts comply with relevant “external” Accounting Standards, the UK’s taxation authorities and other regulatory bodies or legislation as maybe relevant • To investigate, report (and learn from) any material variances between actual and budget/forecast • Preparation of (monthly) management accounts and analysis • Assist in preparation of Budget / forecast preparation • Month-end process including; purchase/sales ledger reconciliation and payroll journals/recharges • Ensuring your own personal learning and development needs (technical and non-technical) are maintained to deliver the Accounts • Purchase / Sales Ledger management • CIS involvement • Cash book management • Balance sheet account reconciliations Essential Skills • Knowledge of Sage Cloud 50 / Sage 200 Professional preferable • Must have Excel skills to include VLOOKUP & Pivot Tables etc. • AAT Qualified preferred • Construction industry experience would be desirable • Staff supervision and guidance experience • Min 3 years experience working in accounting
