About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled operator to handle HIAB and Swift Lift equipment for efficient loading, transporting, and unloading of materials. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring safe, timely deliveries and providing top-quality service to our customers.
Working for a full-service transport company that has been specialising in providing reliable transport and logistics solutions in New Zealand for many years.
Key Responsibilities:
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
* Current class 4/5 licence.
* Full-time position with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
* Current Forklift and OSH certificates are preferred.
* The ability to use technology and learn new systems is preferred.
* The ability to keep all vehicles and workstations clean, tidy and presentable is a must.
* Always keep the customer focus front of mind to ensure we are delivering on our key values and vision.
* Keep us informed of the need for maintenance or other concerns that may arise.
* High energy, reliable and punctual.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience of operating HIAB and Swift Lift machinery.
* A valid HIAB certification and relevant driving licence (Class 4 or 5 preferred).
* Strong understanding of load security and safety procedures.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Physically fit and committed to workplace safety.
* Great communication and problem-solving skills.
