Here at Out of Bounds, we are currently recruiting for a Chef to assist the Café department within our activity centre. The Chef is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day management and running of our Kitchen. You will assist in every aspect of the Kitchen, working closely with the Chef Team to successfully deliver the Café operation.

The ideal candidate will:
1. Prepare and cook the menu to the highest standard.
2. Assist with ordering of stock and manage stock control within agreed budgets and GP margins.
3. Follow, maintain, and demonstrate high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
4. Be confident and experienced in following and adhering to all rules of Health and Safety.
5. Have a minimum of Level 2 Food Hygiene; further training can be provided.
6. Possess the ability to successfully delegate, lead, and motivate the team with confidence.
7. Maintain legislation and compliance.
8. Work closely with the front of house team.
9. Work to company targets and KPIs.
10. Maintain company systems & procedures.
Hours of work:
Worked flexibly across 7 days, with scheduled days off. Attractive working hours predominantly between 08:30 - 18:30, with exceptions on Fridays, Saturdays, and ad hoc events, where the finishing times will be around 20:00. No split shifts.
