From September 2025, we have an opportunity for a part-time teacher to join our Classics department.
We are seeking a dedicated qualified Classics teacher who has undergone appropriate training and is confident about delivering Latin, Ancient History and Classical Civilisation to years 5 - 8 with enthusiasm and passion. Latin is introduced in the second year and some boys pursue a two-year scholarship or Common Entrance Greek course.
We are proud of our excellent reputation, we have wonderful boys and a talented team of supportive colleagues. Although this role is 2 days per week, a willingness to become fully immersed in the extra-curricular life of this busy boys’ fortnightly boarding school is essential.
Ideally, this appointment will be 2 consecutive days per week, however we will consider other arrangements for the right candidate.
In return, we offer a generous salary, pension scheme, first-class resources and the very best facilities for teaching and learning.
