Blue Water Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Lead Electrical Commissioning Engineer to work on a new Waste to Energy plant based in Ince.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working on new build power stations.
This role offers a salary range of £500 – £600 per day outside IR35.
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
1. Leading the electrical commissioning activities on a new Waste to Energy plant.
2. Carry out testing on electrical systems and equipment.
3. Hands-on commissioning of electrical components and systems such as transformers, medium/low voltage switchgears, DC systems, rectifiers, inverters, motorized valves, instruments, etc.
4. Ensure all the activities conducted on site follow the correct process in accordance with project requirements and in strict compliance.
5. Preparation and update of the commissioning procedures to be conducted on site.
6. Report to the Commissioning Manager and the Head of Commissioning on a weekly basis.
About You:
1. At least 5 years working experience in power stations with demonstrable experience in a leading role in projects of similar relevance.
2. BEng / HND in Electrical Engineering.
3. Excellent communication skills.
4. Ability to manage and command a large workforce.
