At Naked Wines, we’re looking for a passionate Mobile App Engineer to join our dynamic team and help us revolutionise how our customers experience our digital platforms. As a key member of our tech team, you will play a vital role in advancing both the user and developer experience, while delivering cutting-edge solutions that add real value to our customers. You’ll be working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you’ll contribute to shaping the future of our mobile technology stack, from writing high-quality code to engaging in meaningful technical discussions and continuously improving our processes.
If you're someone with extensive mobile app development experience and an expert in Flutter, we want to hear from you!
Location: London or Norwich (at least 1 day per week at primary office, 1 trip to other office per month)
Requirements
You are responsible for:
* Advancing the user experience, developer experience and customer value of our technology stack
* Delivering stories to a high standard within agreed timelines
* Writing high quality code and following best practices
* Writing detailed documentation and robust unit tests to support technical solutions
* Following and promoting agreed ways of working within the team
* Providing meaningful contributions to technical discussions in chapter ceremonies
* Building strong relationships with other developers, testers and PMs across the department
You bring:
* Extensive experience building mobile apps
* Excellent knowledge of Flutter and cross-platform development
* Familiarity with native Android/iOS development (Swift, Kotlin, Java)
* Comfortable building and styling complex UI and widgets
* Familiarity with different state manage solutions
* Appreciation of design and experience of working closely with UX designers
* Familiar with Git source control and agile workflows
* Familiar with app store deployment and review process
* Familiarity with CI tools
