As a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager, you will report to the Corporate Tax Manager and Corporate Partner. You should have experience and detailed knowledge of UK corporation tax and a good understanding of other business taxes to ensure compliance and identify planning opportunities.
Experience with international tax issues such as double taxation relief, treaties, transfer pricing, thin capitalisation, and CFCs is desirable.
Knowledge of Alphatax, CCH Central, Caseware, Digita, and Microsoft Office is beneficial.
Our clients span various sectors including OMBs, entrepreneurial firms, large corporates, multi-national groups, FSA regulated companies, and AIM listed PLCs.
The role is mainly office-based with occasional client visits and travel between offices in West Sussex and Kent.
The main objectives are to oversee and maintain the annual CT compliance for a varied portfolio of corporate clients.
The responsibilities include:
· Reviewing and preparing complex corporation tax returns and computations
· Assisting with ad hoc advisory queries and larger projects
· Training and supervising junior staff
· Supporting tax marketing efforts
Requirements:
· CTA qualification with 2-3 years post-qualification experience or qualified by experience
· Attention to detail
